K10 Books is an independent publisher of mysteries, thrillers, historical fiction and contemporary novels. We are a small team of editors, designers and readers who love nothing more than discovering a manuscript we cannot put down — and then doing everything we can to put it into the hands of readers who will feel exactly the same way.
We were founded on a straightforward idea. Talented storytellers do not always fit the moulds that large publishers expect, and brilliant books are too often overlooked because they are difficult to categorise. K10 Books exists to champion those writers, to invest in their careers for the long term, and to build a catalogue that readers can trust.
What we publish
Our list spans warm cosy mysteries, tautly plotted crime and psychological thrillers, sweeping historical fiction and tender contemporary stories. What ties them together is not genre but quality: every title we publish has to earn its place through storytelling that grips, moves or delights — and, at its best, does all three.
